Goverment now providing guidance to schools advising them to have an AED

by ,

The cardiac charity SADS UK today announced that the UK government is now providing guidance to schools advising them to have a defibrillator as part of their first aid equipment. This is a direct result of their Big Shock Campaign urging the government to issue legislation making defibrillators mandatory in all schools.

This guidance on defibrillators for schools is further progress on the government‘s announcement earlier this year regarding legislation for all new schools to have defibrillators.

Everyone at DEFIBhub wishes to congratulate the SADS UK team, The Oliver King Foundation and all their supporters for their hard work towards achieving this important milestone.
